A very busy Monday!

Check out our BUDDING scientists making careful observations, drawings and labelling their pictures.

We have been learning about translation, rotation and reflection. We played a fun mirroring game where we had to reflect what our partner was doing. We then did some cool artwork using what we knew about translation, reflection and rotation.

Van's Holiday

In Fiji I did hermit crab racing in the restaurant. We also played limbo. My cousin won a red visor. The adults hung out in another restaurant. They drank kava and the Fijians sang songs. The kava made the adults feel better and put them to sleep when they went to bed.

Check us out!

Check out our cool homemade rubber band scales. You could make one at home and practice comparing different weights of objects.

Can you balance 30 nails on top of one nail?

Kirstyn can!

Tricky Bags

We have been learning about mass (weight) in class. We made these 'tricky bags' and asked our partners to put them in order from lightest to heaviest. We have also been using balance scales.
