This week we have been learning about the ANZACs. We have learnt that many people died in the war the keep NZ free. We learnt that animals were used in the war. Donkeys were used to carry injured people to hospitals, dogs were used to send messages to troops and horses were used to carry supplies. Also the animals helped to keep the soldiers happy during these sad and hard times as mascots. Come and check out our ANZAC poems and our awesome poppy art work.
