How is everyone's holidays going?
I have been very busy travelling around visiting my friends and family. I have also been planning some interesting lessons for you to do with the RIO olympics! This term our focus will be on SUCCESS! What does success mean? How can we be successful? When was a time you were successful? Have a talk to your family about this.
I am also really excited to learn about how SCIENTISTS help athletes. Did you know that science plays a massive role in sport? Scientists help develop footwear and clothing for athletes, they work out what the athletes should eat and drink so they have enough energy, they work out how they athletes should train and how they should position their bodies, they help fix injuries, they develop machines to help athletes train and they develop equipment to help the athletes win. Did you know that when you grow up this is a job that you could have if you want it? Pretty cool, eh?
